Map for Saturday discussion and reflection 2020

 Student Learning Objective- Students will summarize “Map for Saturday” via class discussion and will evaluate a key theme from the film through a short written response. 


Class discussion:


Why did 26 year old Brook Silva quit his job in the NY Sports TV industry and travel the world?

What are some places he traveled to when he traveled the world and spent $20,000?

Where would you visit that he did?  Why?

Where would you not visit?  Why?

What were some similar cultures to US from the film?

What were some different cultural customs you observed in the film?

Would you get numb to traveling, etc. or not? Why?

What was the best or worst idea in the movie?  Explain.
