Dream Vacation 2020-2021

Student Learning Objective- Students will discover beautiful and/or interesting places to visit around the world and they will conduct research on those places and they will compile a slide show on google slides which represent one place in each region that they would love to visit.

Directions:

  1. Create a google slides presentation called "Dream Vacation".  
  2. Make a title slide.
  3. Create a sources slide.
  4. Make a slide of a city or place you would visit in Western Europe or Eastern Europe.  Have a picture of the place and an explanation of why you want to go there or what you would do there. Put the sources used for that region's trip on your sources slide.
  5. Make a slide of a city or place you would visit in Latin America.  Have a picture of the place and an explanation of why you want to go there or what you would do there. Put the sources used for that region's trip on your sources slide.
  6. Make a slide of a city or place you would visit in Africa or the Middle East.  Have a picture of the place and an explanation of why you want to go there or what you would do there. Put the sources used for that region's trip on your sources slide.
  7. Make a slide of a city or place you would visit in South Asia, Southeast Asia or East Asia.  Have a picture of the place and an explanation of why you want to go there or what you would do there. Put the sources used for that region's trip on your sources slide.
  8. Make a slide of a city or place you would visit in Canada, Australia or New Zealand.  Have a picture of the place and an explanation of why you want to go there or what you would do there. Put the sources used for that country's trip on your sources slide.
  9. Put the sources slide last
  10. Turn in the google slides presentation- upload to google classroom
Homework due 10/2- Study all notes  from this week.  Quiz #3 is Friday, 10/2.  Students will get more class time Friday, 10/2 to finish Dream Vacation.
